Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of SnowRex. By using SnowRex, you agree to these terms.

About SnowRex

SnowRex is a ski navigation and tracking app. It helps you explore resort maps, choose routes, view resort context, record ski sessions, import supported files, and export your own records.

SnowRex is not an emergency, avalanche, medical, safety, rescue, travel, or professional mountain guidance service.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use information shown in SnowRex. You should review routes, map data, weather context, location accuracy, imported files, exported files, activity metrics, and session summaries before relying on them.

SnowRex may contain errors, and map, resort, route, weather, location, altitude, motion, or imported data may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, unavailable, or inappropriate for current conditions.

Mountain Safety

Skiing and snowboarding involve risk. Conditions can change quickly, and trails, lifts, closures, hazards, signs, and patrol instructions may differ from information shown in the app.

Always follow resort rules, posted signs, ski patrol instructions, closures, local law, and your own judgment. Do not use SnowRex as your only source of safety information.

Location and Activity Information

SnowRex is provided for personal navigation support, activity tracking, and recordkeeping. Nothing in SnowRex guarantees route safety, trail availability, lift operation, weather accuracy, location precision, or emergency assistance.

You are responsible for decisions you make based on information shown in SnowRex.

Subscriptions

SnowRex offers an optional SnowRex Premium yearly subscription through Apple. Subscription options, prices, trial availability, billing periods, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple ID.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

Free features and Premium features may change over time. If a subscription is canceled, expires, or cannot be verified, Premium features may become unavailable.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse SnowRex, attempt to interfere with the app, reverse engineer the app except where allowed by law, use the app to violate laws or third-party rights, or upload/import content you do not have the right to use.

Your Data and Exports

You control the records you add to SnowRex. If you export, share, import, or back up data, you are responsible for where those files go and who can access them.

Availability and Changes

SnowRex may change, add, or remove features. We may update the app, change supported resorts or data sources, adjust features, or stop supporting older versions. Some features depend on device capabilities, operating system support, Apple services, location access, motion sensors, altitude sensors, network availability, map services, weather services, or permissions you grant.

Disclaimer

SnowRex is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Phi Doan will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for personal injury, property damage, lost profits, lost data, activity losses, travel losses, or business interruption arising from your use of SnowRex.

Termination

You may stop using SnowRex at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to parts of SnowRex if required by law, platform rules, or misuse of the app.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as SnowRex changes. The effective date above will be updated when the terms change.
